Went here with my family on 5-05-2025 , my Aunt treated us for a special treat. Zeania Anil seemed to know my aunt well ! Zeania and Anil were friendly and helpful. We ordered The White Chocolate Moch Espresso Iced Coffee a little too strong but not bad, and my mom got the Strawberry Cupcake , I got the Raspberry Cupcake which was very good and my Dad got the Lemon Square which was yummy and and my Aunt ordered the Peanut Butter smoothie she seemed to enjoy it ! My sister ordered a bagel with cream cheese and espresso iced coffee, too . Nice little place! Friendly staff ! Great pastries !

AMAZING new hidden gem in Worcester! I had an iced honey lemon ginger tea and it was so refreshing , just the right amount of sweetness! I also had the Turkish sausage (sujuk) sandwich which is everything you want in a sandwich. Crispy bread, melted cheese, flavorful sausage. The atmosphere of the cafe is phenomenal, so cozy, great for meeting up with friends or getting work done. The staff is also super friendly!

I went here for the first time since it opened. The newly renovated space is friendly and inviting. The music is at a nice soft level where you can hear it but don’t have to shout over it. I had Turkish iced tea and a homemade sunflower seed bagel. Both were delicious! They had pastries that looked yummy so I decided to bring home a fresh made strawberry cupcake (they also have blueberry cupcakes, it was a tough choice). I’m very pleased I stopped in and can’t wait to go back, maybe tomorrow!!

Daphne’s Tears is the kind of place that you didn’t know you needed until you get there. In these days of corporate everything, Daphne’s feels like coming home when you’ve been lonely for a while. While the physical environment could be spruced up with a few small additions to the decor, the warmth and enthusiasm of the owners and staff more than make up for the unadorned space. First and foremost: the coffee. If you’ve been reared on coffees sold at corporate chains, you will be delighted with the richness and depth of their many coffee offerings. Their coffees are reminiscent of what you would find in a charming European cafe, certainly not typical in Central Mass. While I have not yet had their sandwiches, I have had enough of their sweet offerings to recommend them with enthusiasm. As a cupcake aficionado, I can promise you that even the most ardent connoisseur of cupcakes will be craving them in between visits. The raspberry squares were moist and perfect for real raspberry lovers, not too sweet and reminiscent of freshly picked fruit. When I arrived for my third visit today, the owner greeted me warmly and explained politely that they we just about to close. I suggested that I return at another time. Instead, he encouraged me to place my order and he made me feel like my order was the most important order of the day, even though they were actually closed. He took the time to explain the available items, and in doing so, he seemed genuinely interested in engaging in conversation. Each time I have visited Daphne’s Tears Bakery and Cafe, I have noted their genuine commitment to serving great food and coffee as well as their sincere desire to warmly welcome their customers. This is indeed a winning combination, and I hope to return every time I am in Worcester. Once you’ve tried it, you will yearn to return!

A cozy little gem in my neighbourhood. Stopped by couple of weeks ago to realise this was a whole new cafe just recently opened. Met both owners who are an absolute delight to talk with. They even shared a beautiful legend that lays behind the name of this Cafe. I am sure they will be happy to share it with you as well. Was treated to a wonderful cup of authentic Turkish coffee and Rachat Loukum and purchased freshly baked croissants for everyone in my office. Definitely a place to come in the morning for a relaxing breakfast with coffee. Truly wish this new business to succeed!!
